Monitoring ambient meteorological conditions - a requirement for high accuracy measurements
To ensure the accuracy of laser tracker measurements, absolute pressure, ambient temperature and humidity will have to be monitored continuously.
To compensate for the effect of the surrounding atmospheric conditions, the refractive index is calculated and the measurements are corrected respectively.
If necessary, also the surface temperature of the object may be measured.
